For the most part, the theme update will not require any effort or work on your part, however slight changes to certain content types call for review to ensure that visitors have the best experience.

Blog & News Views
The feature image on the Blog and News view will now be a 16:9 ratio, but if the image in the post isn't that ratio, the view will add the appropriately sized background to ensure the entire image is displayed on the view. See the news view on the front page of this site.
Blog and News Content Type
In the updated theme, the blog post and news feature image now expand to fill the full column width. If the original image is large enough, it will display at full column width. If the image is smaller, a background field will fill the remaining space, when the feature image is centered. This ensures that smaller images maintain their resolution and don't appear stretched or blurry. Additionally, blog posts and news items are no longer visually differentiated, but will be distinguishable by the URL, /blog/ or /news/
News Posts

Lab Content Type

Program Content Type
The biggest change here is that the feature image has become a hero image and extends across the width of the page. The focal point may need to be adjusted, or a new image selected.
