Request a Federation Website

School of Medicine entities desiring a new website should contact their department or unit communicator or Beky Branagan, SoM Web Manager, to discuss the options available.

Please note: The School of Medicine strongly recommends that all School-affiliated websites are hosted with DHTS to mitigate security risks and comply with federal guidelines for HIPAA-regulated entities. 

  • Please complete this form in order to request a Drupal staging site. Examples of most choices are available below the entry field. Please review Selecting the theme in order to choose your color. 
  • Please allow up to 10 business days to receive your staging site. 
  • Download available Department or Unit Logos. Please contact Andrea Martin if you need a School of Medicine logo for your program/unit/department.

If you do not yet have a URL, you can request a duke.edu URL from the University by submitting a request via the form at the bottom of the Duke Domain Request Policy page. 
The initial set-up fee is $5,000 and the annual fee is $3,000/year for maintenance, training and support. This fee will be prorated in the first year ($250/month) if the request comes after July 1.
