We invite you to an informational webinar on the Algorithm-Based Clinical Decision Support (ABCDS) Oversight process, Duke Health's AI governance framework that oversees and evaluates algorithms deployed across DUHS, and recent updates to its structure. ABCDS formalizes Duke's commitment to the safe, fair, and effective use of AI and other algorithm-enabled solutions in patient care across DUHS. These documents establish clear expectations for how AI tools are evaluated, approved, and monitored, and are essential for anyone using AI within clinical workflows or patient care delivery. The webinar will also highlight recent improvements to the ABCDS Oversight process, including a streamlined lifecycle designed to make governance more efficient and easier to navigate. In addition, the session will introduce SAIGE (Smart AI Governance Engine), ABCDS Oversight Initiative's new centralized platform for registering, tracking, and monitoring AI-enabled solutions. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of what's changing, why it matters, and where to go to access policies, documentation, and tools required for registering AI solutions prior to clinical use, supporting both high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
