Neutralizing Antibodies Resource

The "Standardized Assessments of Neutralizing Antibodies for HIV/AIDS Vaccine Development" resource is a collaborative site between the Comprehensive Antibody Vaccine Immune Monitoring Consortium (CA-VIMC) under Dr. David Montefiori at Duke University and the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).  The site provides detailed information for making standardized assessments of neutralizing antibodies against HIV, SIV and SHIV using molecularly cloned Env-pseudotyped viruses in an optimized and validated luciferase (Luc) reporter gene assay.

Viral Sequences 

CHAVI viral sequences are available in the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Database.

  1. To search for CHAVI viral sequences, please visit the HIV Sequence Database search interface:http://www.hiv.lanl.gov/components/sequence/HIV/search/search.html.

  2. Open the "Patient Information" tab.

  3. In the "Project" field, select CHAVI from the menu.

  4. Enter any other search criteria desired (viral subtype, genomic region, etc.) and search.
